Brief Description of the Contests

Words Contributed by the Audience (WCA)

On Day 1, during the break after the formal opening ceremony before the audience engagement session, everyone is asked to collect a paper slip at the Valuenteer Desk, write any noun on it and put it into the WCA Container.

These words will be used as surprise challenges during individual finals.

The following group winners will be announced at the end of Day 2 at the Plenary Session

Surprise Challenges: When and How

Surprise Challenges will be given to the finalists on Day 2, at around 15.30 at the gathering of all participants in the big hall.

For individual candidates nominated by teams, Jury members who saw them performing in groups, can give one “WOW” card to any person in each category.

The number of WOW cards received by each candidate will announced at the plenary session together with the names of the Finalists.
The number of “WOW” cards received by each individual finalist will be taken in the account if the Jury members cannot choose between two front runners.

Surprise Challenges for Finalist Teams

BEST INNOVATION TEAM

FINALIST TEAMS will be given a Big Challenge to develop a mega-innovation for.

The Big Surprise Challenge
is taken as a lucky draw from a container containing paper slips with Surprise Challenges proposed by the members of the Organising Committee.

One INNOBALL round is played with each Mega-Innovation.

INTELLECTUAL TEAMWORK

Participating teams – runner-ups in the group contests.

Challenge
Say the Malaysian proverbs “Don’t think there are no crocodiles because the water is still” and “Fear to let spill a drop and you will spill a lot” in other words using

a) 3 randomly selected KITT

b) 3 randomly selected WCS

All the teams rephrase the first proverb initially, and then the second one.

CREATIVE MARKETING

Challenge
Create a marketing message for an international center for Innompic education and trainings using randomly selected 2 KITTs and 2 WCS.

How would you make the World a better place in a radically innovative way using 2 randomly selected 10 KITTs and 2 randomly selected words contributed by spectators (WCS)?

Challenge
Invent a radically new service using 2 randomly selected 10 KITTs and 2 randomly selected words contributed by spectators (WCS). How would you sell your venture to a prospective investor?

2. Give a 30-second “elevator speech” targeting a prospective investor

Challenge

① Create a vision statement for Innompic Games 2020

② Tell how you’re going to inspire your team to pursue the vision using 2 randomly selected 10 KITTs and 2 randomly selected words contributed by spectators. (WCS)

③ Equip 3 team members with a randomly selected 10 KITT and WCS each and explain how these tools will be used – both independently and synergistically – in pursuit of the vision.
