Growing up, I was never a fan of
change for change’s sake. Instead, I believed in change for
goodness’s sake.
You might say I was a rebel with a
cause.
I believed that there was always a
better way, and that I could find a way, and
inspire the way. |
|
|
Over time, as I advanced my
career and led many more change
initiatives end-to-end, I
learned much better skills for
change. I learned
change leadership from both
the school of hard knocks and
through formalized training.
Perhaps, the most important
lesson I learned is expressed in
this proverb:
“If you want to go fast go
alone. If you want to go far go
together.” |

At the end of the day, the value is in the change. And the key to realizing change is through adoption.
After all, innovation is really the adoption of new ideas.
